CRAZY CONCERTS is an entertainment and event planning company focusing mainly on creating events and training in the music, beauty and fashion industry. We also have a catalog of existing songs written by Lientjie Sothmann and arranged by Ettienne Lane.

Vocal Studio
The studio offers vocal training and coaching of songs in any genre for all ages.
Interested parties may enroll as beginners or more experienced singers.

The festival creates opportunity for singers to evolve into dynamic and experienced singers and focus on positive feedback to all participants.
The ShineStar Vocal Art Festival 2022 ran from 16 – 19 May at the LemonJack Theatre in Centurion. You can view the winners here.

Miss Panache SA
This beauty pageant makes a difference by focusing not only on the physical appearance but on inner beauty as well.
Therefore this event collaborates with charity events.
The contests are divided into three sections: Petite (9 – 12 years), Pre-Teen (13 – 15 years) and Teen (16 – 19 years).

Meet the CEO
Lientjie Sothmann (stage name Alene) started her career as a language and music teacher but soon enough her talent for creating music and art took her in new directions.
She entered the first ATKV Crescendo Songwriting Competition in 2006 where she was discovered as a newcomer songwriter by Karin Hougaard who recorded a single of her song Jou Verhaal.
Since then Lientjie started writing songs for vocal duets and bands, Skarlaken Country Duo, Gravity 5, Nonstop and One Voice. She also wrote her first anthem, Die Blinkste Ster, for Hoërskool Eldoraigne which was received very well in the community.
She recently wrote a new hit song, Sonder Vrees, recorded and sung by Dodo who received the award for Best Newcomer Single at the African Indie Awards in 2022.
Writing songs recently grew into a serious profession for Lientjie and this website gives visitors a view of some of her songs.
Viewers can look forward to the continuous posting of new songs as well as personalized writing for artists who are interested in having their own original songs written for them.
Lientjie is also gifted in the successful planning of events and therefore she manages and organizes large events such as the new Miss Panache SA and ShineStar Vocal Art Festival which are only the beginning of bigger things to come.
She collaborates with a team of successful people in the industry and together they bring magic to the events.
